Experience My India pairs the Delhi, Agra and Jaipur circuit with Goa, from Rs 55,000 per person, so after the intensity of the forts and the Taj you fly south to unwind on the beach, with Portuguese-Catholic churches, seafood and the Arabian Sea. It is the classic 'culture then coast' combination, and this page gives you the honest version: why you fly rather than drive to Goa, the real difference between North and South Goa (they suit very different travellers), and the season truth, because Goa in the monsoon is a different, quieter, wetter place than the postcard.

The Golden Triangle is wonderful and intense: early starts, big monuments, city energy. Goa is the exhale, a few days of doing very little in a beautiful place. The information gain on this page is the practical logistics (the Jaipur or Delhi to Goa flight, never a drive), the honest North-versus-South Goa choice that decides your whole beach experience, and a straight word on Goa's seasons so you do not arrive in a downpour expecting sunshine. Goa is on the west coast, far south of the Golden Triangle, so this is a flight, not a road extension. Honestly:

• Fly from Jaipur or Delhi: a direct flight from Jaipur is about 2 to 2.5 hours; Delhi has more frequent flights. Either way you are on the beach the same day. Driving would take two exhausting days each way and makes no sense.
• We keep the Golden Triangle by private car and add Goa as a flight at the end, so the beach is a genuine wind-down, not another travel marathon.
• Fly in via Delhi and out of Goa (or Mumbai) if it suits your international connections; we plan the routing around your flights.

Goa is the natural finale: you do the culture while you have the energy, then relax by the sea before flying home.

This is the decision that matters most, and the two Goas are genuinely different:

• North Goa is livelier. Baga, Calangute, Anjuna and Vagator are busier, with beach shacks, water sports, markets, bars and nightlife. Choose North if you want energy, things to do, and a social scene, and do not mind crowds.
• South Goa is quieter. Agonda, Palolem, Benaulim and Colva are calmer, greener and more spread out, with a slower, more relaxed feel. Choose South if you want to genuinely unwind, read on a quiet beach, and escape the crowds after the busy circuit.
• Our honest steer: after the intensity of the Golden Triangle, many travellers are happier decompressing in South Goa, while those who want a lively finish prefer North. We will ask what you want and place you accordingly, rather than default everyone to the busy northern beaches.

Beyond the beaches, Old Goa's Portuguese-Catholic heritage, the UNESCO Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, and the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas in Panjim, gives Goa a cultural layer worth a half-day, plus a Mandovi sunset cruise and, of course, Goan seafood.

Be honest with yourself about when you are travelling:

• November to February is peak and ideal: warm, dry, calm seas, everything open. This aligns perfectly with the Golden Triangle's own October-to-March season.

• March to May is hot but still beach-viable early in the range.

• June to September is the monsoon: Goa is green and dramatic but wet, many beach shacks and water sports close, and the sea is rough. It is cheaper and quieter, and some love it, but it is not the sunny beach postcard, and we will tell you so honestly if your dates fall here.

Days 1 to 2 (Delhi): arrive and explore. Arrival and a full Old and New Delhi day: Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate, the Lotus Temple (not Mondays). Overnight Delhi.

Day 3 (Delhi to Agra): the road to the Taj. Drive to Agra. Agra Fort, the Baby Taj and a Mehtab Bagh sunset. Overnight Agra.

Day 4 (Agra to Jaipur): Taj sunrise, on to the Pink City. Taj Mahal at sunrise, then drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri and Chand Baori. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 5 (Jaipur): forts and palaces. Amber Fort by jeep (never the elephant), City Palace, Jantar Mantar and a Hawa Mahal photo stop. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 6 (Jaipur to Goa): fly south. Morning at leisure, then fly from Jaipur (or via Delhi) to Goa; transfer to your beach resort in your chosen North or South. Evening at leisure. Overnight Goa.

Day 7 (Goa): beach and heritage. A relaxed beach day, with an optional half-day to Old Goa (Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral) and Fontainhas, or a Mandovi sunset cruise, or simply the beach and seafood. Overnight Goa.

Day 8 (Goa): unwind and depart. A final beach morning, then transfer to Goa airport for your onward flight. Add extra beach nights here if you want a longer wind-down.

The Goa portion extends easily to 3 or 4 nights; the order flexes to flights and the Friday Taj closure.

Per person, twin sharing, on the 8-day shape with 2 Goa nights, with a 20 percent service margin and 5 percent GST already inside the number. The Goa leg adds beach-resort nights and a domestic flight beyond the core circuit, which is why this starts higher than a standard Golden Triangle.
