Photo Workshop Golden Triangle | Experience My India
Honest: most photo workshops are tours selling seats. Ask the ratio, ask for the critique schedule, ask past students. Capped at 6. From Rs 60,000 pp.
In a Nutshell
“Experience My India runs a taught Golden Triangle for photographers who want to come home better, not just fuller, from Rs 60,000 per person (6-day, 4 star, twin sharing), capped at 6 participants. Here is the sentence that should govern how you shop for any photography workshop, from a workshop directory rather than from us: Some companies are just in the business of selling seats. The tour might be just that, and not photography specific.”

Our promise
Why choose Experience My India for the workshop
Honest note
The workshop is NOT for you if
- You want to shoot dawn to dusk. Half the value here is the review sessions, and if you skip them you have bought an expensive tour.
- You will not have your work critiqued. That is the product. If the idea makes you bristle, take the photo tour instead and enjoy it.
- You want models and set-ups. We photograph what is in front of us.
- You want a famous name. We will not sell you one who appears at dinner.
- You want the elephant ride at Amber. We do not offer it, on welfare grounds. The jeep does the climb.
Preparation
Before you go
🎒Packing List
- 1.Bring a laptop and whatever you edit in. The review sessions need your files, not your camera.
- 2.Bring a portfolio, even ten images on a phone. It tells the leader where to start with you.
- 3.Know what you want to fix. 'Get better' is not a brief. 'My street frames are cluttered' is.
- 4.Bring cards and batteries. You will shoot more than you expect and edit more than you shoot.
- 5.Cancellation follows our house slabs: 80 percent refunded more than 30 days out, 50 percent at 7 to 30 days, none under 7 days. If we cancel for minimum numbers, your workshop fee is refunded in full.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a photo workshop and a photo tour?
Teaching, and you can test for it in one question: where are the critique sessions in the itinerary? A tour takes you to good locations at good times, which is genuinely valuable. A workshop adds scheduled image review, group projections, private critiques and a post-processing session, which is where photographers actually improve. As one workshop directory puts it bluntly, some companies are simply in the business of selling seats and the tour is just a tour.
