Kid-Friendly Golden Triangle | Experience My India
Honest: your child will ask for the elephant ride and we will not sell it. Plus the toilet problem nobody writes about. Kids enter free. From Rs 60,000.
In a Nutshell

Before anything else, the conversation you are going to have, because we would rather you had it now than at the bottom of a hill in Jaipur.”

Why choose Experience My India for the family trip
Honest note
This trip is NOT for you if
- You want the elephant ride. We do not offer it at any price and will not be talked into it. If that is the deciding factor, book elsewhere; we would rather say so plainly.
- You want to see everything. With young children you will see less and enjoy it more. That is the trade and we make it deliberately.
- You are travelling in May or June. The heat is genuinely hard on small children, and we will tell you to come between October and March instead.
- You want a 5 am start every day. One sunrise, at the Taj, is worth it. Five is a punishment for everybody including you.
- Your child cannot manage stairs. Amber's staircases are steep and numerous, and the Taj platform has its own. Tell us and we will plan around it.
Preparation
Before you go
🎒Packing List
- 1.Real shoes, not sandals. Amber is steep and the stone is uneven.
- 2.Snacks and water in the car, always. The drives are longer than the map says.
- 3.One monument a day, maximum. Two if one of them is Jantar Mantar and everyone slept.
- 4.Ask about the toilet stops when you book, from us or anyone else. The answer tells you a lot.
- 5.Rehearse the elephant answer before Jaipur. It goes better than you think.
- 6.Cancellation follows our house slabs: 80 percent refunded more than 30 days out, 50 percent at 7 to 30 days, none under 7 days.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is the Golden Triangle suitable for young children?
Yes, if it is planned around them rather than at them. The monuments are free for children, the sights are genuinely spectacular at any age, and Jantar Mantar in particular is one of the few historic sites in India that children are allowed to touch and use. The constraints are real, though: long drives with few stops, steep stairs at Amber, and heat from April onward. October to March, one monument a day, and empty afternoons make the difference.
