This Trip Is NOT For You If
- You are travelling May to August. The balloon does not fly in summer or the monsoon (September to April only).
- You expect to float over Amber Fort. The flight is over the countryside, not the forts.
- You cannot meet the flight restrictions. Minimum age 5 and height about 1.5 m — not suitable for pregnant travellers or those with serious mobility issues.
- You need a guaranteed flight on a fixed date. Weather grounds balloons; we build a backup morning, but nobody can promise the sky on a given day.
- A pre-dawn start is a dealbreaker. Pickup is around 4:30 am.

- 1.Travel September to April for the balloon — the sweet spots are October to March when mornings are clear and cool.
- 2.Expect a pre-dawn pickup (around 4:30 to 5:00 am) and a mid-morning return.
- 3.Dress in layers — the dawn is cold in the basket and warms fast after sunrise — and wear closed shoes and no loose hats.
- 4.Bring a camera with a strap and your passport (operators require photo ID; some ask for it in advance).
- 5.Arrange travel insurance that covers ballooning.
- 6.December and January can bring morning fog that delays or cancels flights, which is exactly why we hold a backup morning.
- 7.The Taj is closed on Fridays — sequenced around.
