The temple holds five aartis through the day, each with its own atmosphere and attending one is the best way to experience the temple.

• By metro: the nearest station is Nehru Place on the Magenta Line, about 500 metres away, a swift 10-minute walk or a quick e-rickshaw ride up the hill. Kailash Colony station on the Violet Line is another option nearby.

• By road: it is well connected by local cabs and DTC buses passing through Nehru Place.

• Parking: free parking is provided right in front of the main gateway.

The cooler months of October to March are the most pleasant for the walk up the hill and the gardens. If you visit around Janmashtami, expect enormous crowds and elaborate celebrations, so plan to arrive early.
